This is the very first course introducing students to TCM. The basic theories of TCM including Yin/Yang, Five Elements and the application of Yin/Yang, Five Elements will be introduced in detail. Zang Xiang (Picture of Zang Fu organs) also known as TCM physiology is also introduced. The functions of each individual organ and their relationship between the Zang organs, Zang and Fu organs will be discussed in details. TCM etiology, pathogenisis, treatment principles, and prevention of diseases are also covered in this course.
