This course will start with the general treatment methods and principles of Chinese herbal formulas. It will introduce over 80 commonly used formulas and their simple modifications. The names, ingredients, functions, indications, precautions, and contraindications of each formula will be discussed as well as the role each herb plays in the formula will be analyzed. The emphasis in this course is on learning formulas for commonly occurring diseases and how to adapt the basic formulas to individual cases.

Tui Na is an effective method for improving health condition and relaxing patient through a series of special techniques that can work on different level such as muscle, skin, bone, etc due to various pathogenesis. This class teaches you how to arrange all the Tui Na movement you have learned together and how to treat patient by proper techniques.
Western Nutrition

The focus of this course is to lay foundational knowledge of Western nutrition.  Fundamental concepts will be reviewed from the perspective of how the body and mind are nourished and nurtured.  Basic areas considered are nutrients, activities, state of body and mind, spiritual and environmental factors.  This is not a typical Western nutrition course in that it does not come from a dietetics perspective, but from a wholistic perspective in which there is no consideration of separation between the mind and body.  The physical and mental aspects of nutrition and wellbeing will be explored, and how they interrelate with one another.  The BodyMind Nutrition System is one which helps the student sift through the various existing nutrition paradigms, allowing them to 'connect the dots' of truth in each, explaining why many mainstream concepts fall away once calibrated within the BodyMind Nutrition System.
Chinese Medical Terminology

This is a continue course of Chinese medical terminology, students will continue to learn basic dianogues, reading and writing as grade 2 level in Chinese language as well learn Chinese medical terms such as names of Chinese herbs, Formulas and Acupoints to help students understand TCM. Student will start to read sentences and small paragraphs of Chinese medicine literatures.

This course will leads students from a accurate syndrome differentiation towards point selectiongs as well as herbal selections for the related clinical cases. These practice allows studnets to learn acupoints and herbs from case studies which assist students to learn and apply theories to clinical practice .
Clinical Assistance
This course requires an enrolment key
During clinic assistance, students will be asked to give help to the practitioners in the clinic, such as position the patients, apply moxibustion, cupping, heating lamp, withdraw needles, and so on. Students will also continue to learn the whole process of assessment and treatment.
